Rogue,a young girl of 15 is a sophmore at Bayville High and because of her powers she is insecure and has a hard time trusting people. Rogue's powers manifested while at a school dance. She absorbed the memories of Cody, the boy whom she had been dancing with. Both the Brotherhood and the X Men went to recruit her. Both teams for different reasons. The Brotherhood because of her great power and the X Men because they truely wanted to help her. However Mystique had a plan to get Rogue to join the Brotherhood. She scared Rogue out of joining the X Men. Later on, on a school geology trip Rogue finds out the truth by touching Mystique. She found out that the X Men were not her enemies. After Rogue learns the truth she joins the X Men.
